
Visionary Artist Carolyn Quan is a Canadian-born, award-winning, internationally-collected fine artist, based in the American Southwest.
Her fine art career began serendipitously after the events of 9-11. Prior to her transition into fine art she had a successful career as an Art Director and Graphic Designer in the music and entertainment
Her artwork has been acquired by art collectors from around the world from Australia to Germany to Japan. She has exhibited her art in Mexico, Canada, Brazil, and across the United States and has been featured in over 20 publications as well as on radio, television, and in a documentary film. Two of her nudes are held in the permanent collection of art at The Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender and Reproduction founded by world-renowned sex researcher Dr. Alfred Kinsey, in Bloomington, Indiana.
Carolyn is the recipient of many awards including 20 American Art Awards since 2012, which are juried by 20 fine art galleries and museums across the U.S.; the Photography Award of Merit at the 34th Annual La Quinta Arts Festival, which is one of the highest-ranked art festivals in the U.S.; two nominations in the Annual Fine Art Photography Awards (London, England); Honorable Mention and Special Merit awards in the Wild Art Int’l Fine Art Competition; and the Best in Show award at the 2010 Castro Street Fair in San Francisco. She has also been honored with a number of other art festival awards in Beverly Hills, St. George, and two in Chicago.
With her desire to contribute to both local and worldwide art communities, she dedicates her time between her own fine art career and offering her services and skills to others through her various art-related projects such as the Spiritual Art Awards.
