About the Founder

Visionary Artist Carolyn Quan is a Canadian-born, award-winning, internationally-collected fine artist, based in the American Southwest. 

Her fine art career began after 15 years as an Art Director and Graphic Designer in the music and entertainment industries in Toronto and New York. During her career in design she had the honor of working with many celebrity recording artists including Aretha Franklin, Grateful Dead, Barry Manilow, Carly Simon, Eurythmics, and Yes, to name just a few. She is the recipient of three RIAA Gold Records for her accomplishments as an Art Director in the recording industry. 

Her artwork has been acquired by art collectors from around the world from Australia to Germany to Japan. She has shown in Mexico, Canada, Brazil, and across the United States and has been featured in over 20 publications as well as on radio, television and film. Two of her nudes are held in the permanent collection of art at The Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender and Reproduction founded by world-renowned sex researcher Dr. Alfred Kinsey, in Bloomington, Indiana. 

Carolyn has also been the recipient of 16 American Art Awards since 2012, which are juried by 25 fine art galleries across the U.S. as well as the Award of Merit in the Photography category at the 34th Annual La Quinta Arts Festival and the Best in Show award at the 2010 Castro Street Fair in San Francisco. She has also won art festival awards in Beverly Hills, St. George and two in Chicago.
